One of my personal favourite brews is a refreshing and tart bottle conditioned kettle sour, named Moonstone. Light bodied and packed with super juicy peach, this brew gains its name from the peach moonstone crystal, not only because of its flavour, but also because the crystal stimulates the mind, mirroring how the sour peach taste stimulates your taste buds. This label’s design was inspired by the moon tarot card, which depicts a dog and a wolf howling the moon. However, this label has been adapted and inspired by my own life, clearly depicting London as the background, the city I live in, with illustrations of the Shard and the Gherkin in place of pillars. The label also sees a fox and a drawing of my own dog to replace the animals, and the Lunam Ignis Brew logo and a peach have also been incorporated into the drawing of the moon/sun.
